The firm is led by Jonathan More, Mayfair's principal with 17 years of experience in real estate finance, investments and asset management. Jonathan has been involved with 135 investment/financing/leasing transactions in his career totaling $3.2 billion in transaction volume. Deal size targets are $5MM - $50MM, though larger transactions will be considered. The firm's core investments have centered around value-add, mixed-use properties offering in-place yield with the opportunity to grow property yield and value through strategic capital investment.

Mayfair recently acquired Ortega Village, an 82-unit garden-style multifamily property located directly across from the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, FL. The property was tied up 4 days after being shown the off-market opportunity. Excellent in-place cash flow with upside at an attractive acquisition price per door. Mayfair owns property down the street and felt confident the in-place Ortega rents could be substantively increased with hands-on management and smart capital investment.
The Jacksonville market itself continues to thrive from migration growth and was only marginally affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. Market multifamily rents continue to grow on Jacksonville's west side and the future outlook remains very positive. Mayfair is keen on investing further capital in the Jacksonville area.
